My life has come to encompass both performing and teaching music. And when I'm not doing one, chances are you can find me doing the other. I have taught students ranging from eight year olds to eighty year olds. The way I look at a musical education is that everyone can improve from where they find themselves, no matter the experience level or age.

 

My lessons are tailored to fit the musician, new or more experienced. Younger students might be experiencing a formal musical education for the first time, but we will always try to find the most enjoyable way to get where we are going. While middle and high schoolers might be looking to explore their performing and songwriting, getting into and placing in All-State and Regional Choirs, or getting more experience to prepare themselves for an audition for their school musicals or college music programs. 

 

Many students of mine have gone on to undergraduate programs across various levels and disciplines. I also offer music theory and ear training tutoring at beginner, middle, high school and college levels and can be focused on helping you prepare for that placement test, fill in some fundamentals, or answer specific questions and content.

Lessons can be scheduled for half an hour, forty-five minutes, or an hour.
